📜 Historical Context: The Jinniu Trail was carved during the Warring States period, named after the legend of "stone oxen producing gold and five giants opening the mountain". It was a strategic passage connecting Guanzhong and Bashu, and a stage for Three Kingdoms history.

🚶 Unique Experience: Hiking the Shudao is a dialogue with living history. Underfoot are stones walked by ancients; beside you are thousand-year-old cypresses — an immersive walk through the "folds of time".
Cuiyunlang is the world's largest ancient cypress forest, with 7,803 surviving trees, the oldest over 2,300 years. Best hiking time: early morning or dusk when light filters through the cypresses.
